ABOUT ME
Curiosity in Action
I’m a J.D. candidate at NYU School of Law and a graduate of Vanderbilt University, where I studied Economics and Mathematics and was an Ingram Scholar and College Scholar.
Before law school, I worked across private equity and venture capital, including at Brown Brothers Harriman’s Cedar Street Equity and Neythri Futures Fund. Those experiences sharpened my interest in how businesses grow, capital is deployed, risks are allocated, and institutions shape consequential decisions.
At NYU Law, I’m exploring how lawyers help clients navigate complex legal and business problems — and how law interacts with markets, innovation, institutions, and change.

I evaluated prospective private-market investments through financial, valuation, market, competitive, and operational analysis. I prepared investment committee and limited-partner materials and supported diligence on an investment approved by the Investment Committee.

I worked within an early-stage venture ecosystem focused on companies founded by South Asian women, supporting founder outreach, sourcing, pipeline development, and ecosystem relationships.

Project Manager- Volunteer· Summer 2024
I managed a World Bank-funded nanofinance initiative across 12 rural villages in Odisha, supporting 1,000+ women through financial literacy, entrepreneurship training, and technology access. Working with local stakeholders, I set up 12 self-help groups and helped translate the program into locally responsive support for women building and growing small businesses.

I have been involved with The Climate Reality Project since age 13, working with former Vice President Al Gore through the organization as a Climate Reality Leader. I have trained and mentored participants in Japan and the United States, including New York and Nashville, helping emerging leaders turn climate knowledge into community action.

I founded and led an environmental education nonprofit focused on expanding access to environmental and STEM education and youth engagement. I led strategy, fundraising, partnerships, programming, and volunteer engagement, raising $18K+ and developing programs that reached 4,000+ students globally.

Early Advocacy in Washington
Representing gifted youth from New Jersey
My engagement with public institutions began well before law school. From a young age, I traveled to Capitol Hill representing gifted youth from New Jersey, meeting with congressional offices and advocating for issues affecting gifted students. Those experiences gave me an early view of how constituents, advocates, and public officials engage with one another — and helped shape my lasting interest in institutions, policy, and public service.

From Exeter to Vanderbilt to NYU Law, the institutions and communities I have been part of have deepened my commitment to intellectual curiosity, service, leadership, and justice.
Vanderbilt gave me the intellectual range to move between economics and mathematics, while the people and opportunities around me made service, leadership, and interdisciplinary curiosity part of how I approach problems.
Exeter shaped how I think: ask better questions, listen carefully, defend an idea without becoming attached to it, and remain open to changing my mind when the conversation demands it.
Ingram challenged me to think beyond one-time acts of service toward relationships, humility, durable institutions, and the obligation to keep community impact alongside professional ambition.

Some books, very different in form, connected by questions I keep returning to: what we owe one another, how institutions can serve people better, and how we make meaning from the choices and circumstances that shape a life.
GLOBAL PERSPECTIVE

Experiences across communities, countries, markets, and public institutions have shaped the questions I ask about access, opportunity, capital, governance, and responsibility.
OUTSIDE THE BRIEF
Curiosity rarely stays in one lane.
Outside law, I’m a PADI certified Rescue SCUBA Diver and longtime musician. I play chess, paint, travel, am learning tennis and have a habit of disappearing into unusually specific policy rabbit holes.
The ocean has been a constant thread — from diving to environmental education — and adventure remains one of my favorite ways to keep learning.
A FEW THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT KNOW
Small moments, lasting connections.
A pinkie promise, and a bigger story.
I once exchanged a pinkie promise with Senator Elizabeth Warren. She later published Pinkie Promises, inspired by the many promises she made with girls and young women on the campaign trail. It is a small personal connection to a larger story about confidence and possibility.
A birthday in common.
Former Vice President Al Gore and I share a birthday. Our paths have also crossed through The Climate Reality Project, where my interest in environmental education grew into years of climate leadership and mentoring.
Four weeks behind the badge.
I completed the demanding four-week Mount Laurel, New Jersey Junior Police Academy, an intensive introduction to the physical training, procedures, discipline, and real-world responsibilities of policing. Experiencing the routines and challenges of a typical officer’s day gave me a deeper appreciation for the preparation, judgment, and commitment that public safety requires.
Protecting an ancient life on our shores.
Working with the American Littoral Society, I took part in hands-on horseshoe crab conservation, including tagging to support monitoring and protection. These remarkable animals are essential to coastal ecosystems, yet face pressure from harvesting, including for their valuable blue blood. Fieldwork made conservation tangible: sometimes protecting a species begins with carefully recording one animal at a time.
A Day at the US Open
One of my favorite New York experiences in 2026 was attending the US Open for a special recognition celebrating Roger Federer and his extraordinary legacy in tennis. A memorable day at Arthur Ashe Stadium, surrounded by the energy of the crowd and a shared appreciation for one of the sport’s greatest players.
